Nicky Hagendyk

I joined EAS in April 2017 after almost twenty years of teaching and middle leadership roles.

After graduating from Cardiff University my first teaching role was in England in Bath.  I soon returned to Wales and joined the History Department at Whitchurch HIgh School, where I later took on whole school responsibility for delivering the International Baccalaureate.  Following this I joined St Teilos HIgh School in Cardiff as the Head of History.  I subsequently became Learning Area Leader for Humanities and Skills and was latterly responsible for leading the Welsh Baccalaureate.

After twenty years of teaching I joined EAS for a new challenge and a new way to contribute to education in Wales.
