Estyn survey of headteachers’ views on local and regional education services
11/01/2016
Dear Colleagues,

Happy New Year to you all.

I am writing with regards to Estyn survey of headteachers’ and chairs of governors’ views on local and regional education services

Estyn is asking all headteachers and chairs of governors for their views on the quality of the support, challenge and leadership in their local authority and regional consortium to help inform spring and summer term inspections of consortia.

The survey is open for completion from Monday 11th January and will close at 5pm on Friday 29 January. I would encourage you all to complete the survey, Estyn will use this as part of their evidence base when they inspect our region in May.

I will be writing to your Chairs of Governors separately to encourage them to complete the survey, I will be suggesting that they make links with you prior to doing so to ensure that they have clarity around the subjects being explored.

I am looking forward to seeing you all in the headteacher seminars over the next few weeks and I will be sending information and agendas over the next few days. Thank you in anticipation of your continued support.

Kind regards,

Debbie Harteveld
